After 20 years of working in the corporate world I decided it was time to follow my heart and my passion. I returned to quilting and decided to allow my passion to direct my path. We turned my sewing room/office into my "Quilting Studio" where Millie (my APQS Millennium) and I can be found "playing" for hours.

 

I would be pleased to bring my passion for quilting and love of quilts to your personal project and turn it into a treasure of the heart for you and your loved ones! Remembering that the most important quilt in the world is the one that I am working on and I always treat each one as if it were my very own until I can return it safely to you completed and ready to wrap your loved ones in.

Much to my surprise, two of the three quilts I entered in a local quilt show last year won awards. The quilt on the left is"A Day in Paris" named for the french provencial colors and the many different patterns in this ribboned sampler. It no sooner came home than it went with my youngest daughter to her college dorm room. She is far away from home but still wrapped in my love!

The quilt on the right I named "Honey, the Hens Are Out!" What a fun adventure in applique and yes, this is the one hanging in my studio in the picture above. I have had many requests for it and offers of money for it but that one is staying with me!
